Intellectual Property Rights
To the extent that the European Research Area envisages ever closer (also institutional) links between public and private sector research, the issue of IR becomes more and more pressing – for the public research as a whole, and for academies that own research institutes in particular. The ALLEA Standing Committee for Intellectual Property Rights has issued a number of reflections, declarations and recommendations on these matters and is working on a research agenda for the most challenging issues for the coming years.
