Open Access
Academic publishing is undergoing changes in the digital environment. One of the most debated developments is the emergence of Open Access publishing, which may affect dramatically the ways in which scientific information is presented, disseminated and used. Many academies are scientific publishers in their own right and have often contradictory stakes in this area of activity. ALLEA encourages the growth of a body of shared knowledge, the exchange of experiences and, eventually, the development of a common strategies in this field.
