Science and Ethics
In the beginning 21st century, academies are perhaps best known for their seminal contributions to discussions about the ethical dimensions of scientific research: the universality of science, freedom and responsibility of the researcher, and scientific integrity are some of the issues that are being analysed by the ALLEA Standing Committee on Science and Ethics.
