Social Sciences and Humanities

Most academies strive to assemble in their ranks the best in all fields of scientific inquiry, incl. the Social Sciences and Humanities. In times in which increasing importance is being given to the societal impact of scientific research, also the role of SSH disciplines and approaches and their contributions to the understanding of the global, human quest for knowledge throughout history received more attention. ALLEA supports that the totality of sciences must jointly contribute to the building of the ERA and EHEA.
