ALLEA General Assembly 2017 will be held on 4 September in Budapest at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The event will be followed by ALLEA – Academia Europaea joint Conference on “Sustainability and Resilience” (4-6 September) organised in collaboration with the Young Academy of Europe. 9:00 – 16:00 ALLEA General Assembly – Business Meeting (Large Lecture Hall)

16:30 – 16:50 Opening addresses of scientific conference “Sustainability and Resilience”

16:55 – 18:15 Prize Ceremonies and Lectures

  • All European Academies Madame de Staël Prize for Cultural Values
    Laureate lecture: The European Court of Justice in Times of Social Change
    Koen Lenaerts, President of the European Court of Justice
    Laudatio by Sir David Edward (former judge of the European Court of Justice)

18:30 – Reception (for all participants)

19:30 – Conference dinner at the Academia Club (only for those with tickets)
