ALLEA co-organises an interdisciplinary symposium on Health Inequalities in Europe at the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) on 24 May 2018.
ALLEA, the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and the Federation of European Academies of Medicine (FEAM) will hold an interdisciplinary symposium on 24 May 2018 to explore health inequalities in Europe. The event, which will be hosted by the KNAW in Amsterdam, will be the starting point of a joint project on the topic of socioeconomic impact of health inequalities among the population of Europe. This initiative strives to bring together scholars from medical, social sciences as well as economics in order to critically review the available evidence and forge an interdisciplinary consensus on mitigating health inequalities.
