Working Groups To Members' area > Working Groups are advisory bodies of temporary duration concerned with specific and limited issues of policy and advice in respect of science. Their services may vary from advising the Steering Committee to producing a memorandum or report published under the auspices of ALLEA.

The Steering Committee decides about the subject and installation of a Working Group. The chair of a Working Group is member Academician of a Member Academy, nominated and approved by the Steering Committee. Members of a Working Group are preferably members of a Member Academy, and are appointed jointly by the chair and the President.
